Day 1: The British summer capital
The British called Shimla their summer capital. You can easily reach Shimla via Delhi by train or airplane. It’s quite a long journey, so take the first day easy. In the afternoon you can visit several nearby places like the Jakhoo temple Sankat Mochan temple. Keep the evening free and stroll around the famous Shimla Mall Road. Learn the lifestyles of the locals. Shop a little here and there. Keep walking, and you will come across some mid-Renaissance architecture like the Vice Regal Lodge. There are some beautiful cafes as well. Think about the scenery through the window while you take sips of hot cocoa.
Day 2: Kufri- a pleasant surprise
It’s time to set foot at Kufri. After an early breakfast, take a ride to Kufri. This is a desirable honeymoon destination. The scenic beauty and the peacefulness of Kufri are magnetic. The extensive green valleys are refreshing and ethereal. They turn into exquisite white in the colder months. You can stay here overnight.
Day 3: Naldehra: a delight to the nature-lover
After Kufri, the next destination for you is Naldehra. The place is famous for different things, one of them being a stunning Golf Course. Naldehra is not a place you miss if you are looking for an atypical tour. The breathtaking view of the place will serve as a beautiful background for your family picture.
Day 4: Finally, Manali
Wake up early, have your breakfast and start your journey towards Manali. You can go to Manali via Kullu. Midway you can see the spectacular Beas river. If you like things that can evoke a spirit of adventure, you will like the river area. You can even visit the Dashera Maidan. After you reach Manali, take some rest and then explore the neighborhood. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Touch the delicate snow
Enjoy a good breakfast, and now it’s time for the most awaited visit, Solang and Rohtang. The mountains of the Himalayan range surround the beautiful valley of Solang. If you are an adventure lover, you can try the distinctive sports the place offers, to name a few, paragliding, skiing, etc. With a little more extra expenses, you can next visit Rohtang. Walk in the snow, play with it, and enjoy the ethereal beauty of Rohtang. This place is equally appealing to the couple, the adventure lover, or a full-fledged family person. Day 6: Explore Manali
We are not done yet. You still have one good day left. Utilize it for Manali local sightseeing. Firstly, visit the Hadimba temple. This temple is a fine example of wood architecture. It beholds a connection with Indian Mythology. For adventure lovers, the almost dark inside of the temple or the mysterious wood structure surrounded by the cedar forest is certain to evoke admiration.
Next, you can visit the Buddhist Monastery, Van Vihar, etc.
Day 7: Way back home
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. It’s time you find your way back home. Leaving the mesmerizing mountains is hard, but you have your responsibilities to take care of. The valleys of Shimla-Manali will wait for your next visit.
