Day 1: Delhi to Haridwar (220 km / 5-6 hrs)-
Begin your journey from Delhi early in the morning and drive towards Haridwar. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, visit Har Ki Pauri to witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti, a spiritual experience by the holy river. You can also explore Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Devi Temple, and the bustling local markets. Enjoy a peaceful night’s stay in Haridwar.
Day 2: Haridwar to Sonprayag (230 km / 8-9 hrs)-
Start the day with an early morning departure from Haridwar towards Sonprayag, the gateway to Kedarnath. The journey passes through the scenic towns of Rishikesh, Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Guptkashi, offering stunning views of the Himalayas and sacred rivers. Upon reaching Sonprayag, check into your hotel and rest in preparation for the trek the next day.
Day 3: Sonprayag to Kedarnath (20 km trek / Helicopter option)-
Wake up early and take a local shuttle to Gaurikund, the base of the Kedarnath trek. Begin the 16-18 km trek to Kedarnath, passing through breathtaking mountain landscapes. For a quicker option, you can book a helicopter ride from Phata, Sersi, or Guptkashi. Upon arrival, visit the revered Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, and participate in the evening Aarti. Stay overnight in Kedarnath in a guesthouse or camp.
Day 4: Kedarnath to Sonprayag (Trek Down) and Rest-
Early morning, attend the Abhishek Puja at Kedarnath Temple for a divine experience. After breakfast, start your trek back to Gaurikund and take a shared transport to Sonprayag. Check into your hotel and spend the evening resting after the trek.
Day 5: Sonprayag to Badrinath (220 km / 9-10 hrs)-
After an early breakfast, depart for Badrinath, another significant pilgrimage site. En route, visit Vishnuprayag, Karnaprayag, Nandaprayag, and Joshimath, each known for its spiritual and scenic beauty. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and in the evening, visit Badrinath Temple for darshan and participate in the Aarti. Stay overnight in Badrinath.
Day 6: Badrinath to Rishikesh (300 km / 10-11 hrs)-
Wake up early and visit Tapt Kund (hot water spring) before offering prayers at Badrinath Temple. Also, explore nearby sites like Mana Village (last Indian village), Vyas Gufa, and Bhim Pul. After sightseeing, begin the long drive towards Rishikesh, passing through the spiritual towns of Joshimath and Rudraprayag. Upon arrival in Rishikesh, check into your hotel and relax
Day 7: Rishikesh to Delhi (250 km / 6-7 hrs)-
Start the day with a visit to Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Parmarth Niketan Ashram, and Triveni Ghat for the morning Aarti. After breakfast, begin your return journey to Delhi, marking the end of your spiritual Do Dham Yatra with blessings from Kedarnath and Badrinath.
