Let your tranquil vacation on the waters begin! After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive down from the misty hills to the plains, arriving at Alleppey, the Venice of the East. You'll be met by the agent's representative who will guide you onto your private houseboat (kettuvallam). Check-in to your floating villa before you set out to cruise the narrow canals, swaying coconut groves, and bowed paddy fields of the backwaters. With this Kerala tour package, you can indulge in a traditional Kerala lunch onboard, watch local fishermen work their Chinese fishing nets, and enjoy evening tea and snacks as the boat glides along. As the day comes to an end, your houseboat will moor at a peaceful spot for the night, where you'll feast on a sumptuous home-style dinner before resting in your cabin under the stars.
